Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to promote wound healing and prevent wound complications Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on wound care and infection prevention techniques Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective infection prevention strategies, including surveillance, reporting, and practice changes Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize wound care and infection prevention outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including wound progress and infection prevention measures Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements through ongoing education and professional development

Requirements:

Current RN licensure in the state of Alabama Minimum 0 years of experience in wound care and infection prevention Strong clinical skills and knowledge of wound care and infection prevention principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction
