Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting a busy cardiovascular team, delivering expert care to patients in a dynamic, technology-driven environment. This contract assignment offers an opportunity to make a significant impact while working alongside experienced clinicians in a well-equipped cath lab.
Schedule:
40 hours per week 4x10 hour shifts 8-week duration 8 days of on-call required, including 1 weekend every 4 weeks
Desired Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience Prior travel cath lab nursing strongly preferred Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
Key Responsibilities:
Safely prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and related procedures Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care Actively monitor patient status, anticipating and rapidly responding to clinical changes Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Cerner Provide prompt on-call support as scheduled Strict adherence to infection control, safety, and compliance protocols If you thrive in high-acuity settings and enjoy the pace and skill development offered by cath lab nursing, this role provides the professional challenge you're seeking.
