Registered Nurse (RN) IV Home Infusion

Seeking IV Home Infusion Registered Nurse Who We Are:

APS Health & Infusion Nursing Services, LLC is a staffing agency for home infusions in various states across the U.S. Our nurses work PRN in their local areas doing home infusions on an as-needed basis. We work hand-in-hand with hundreds of specialty pharmacies who regularly contact us with new patient referrals. We staff our registered nurses with the pharmacy's patients. The pharmacies call for a wide variety of needs from IVIG to antibiotics to simple teach & train visits for prefilled med syringes. The registered nurse schedules the visit directly with the patient via phone. Once the appointment is made with the patient, the RN notifies us of the scheduled date/time of the appointment. We pay hourly for time spent in the patient's home PLUS round-trip mileage. Hourly pay rates are based on level of education, location and experience. Pay will be discussed in detail and agreed upon at the time of the phone interview.

Registered Nurse:

Care for the individual based on personalized Plan of Care Informs the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the client's conditions and needs. Counsel's client and family through care process while updating family on a regular basis. Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Registered Nurse:

Current unrestricted Registered Nursing license.

• Please be aware, some client contracts do NOT allow any prior disciplinary actions on RN licenses.
• Minimum one (1) year of documented hands-on RN experience required.

Infusion/IV experience

REQUIRED.

Minimum (1) year experience in an RN role in which peripheral IV and critical thinking/rapid response skills are regularly utilized.

• Port access /PICC line experience preferred, but not required.

Must be tech savvy. RN's must supply their own device such as a laptop or iPad with email capabilities. Must be able to convert documents to PDF form. An encrypted email address will be provided to the RN to safely send and receive confidential patient health information. Reliable and current automobile insurance. Clear Background Check. • Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients' homes.

Examples include:

IVIG, alpha-1 therapy, biologics, inotropic therapy, hemophilia therapy, antibiotics, teach & trains, SQ injections, IM injections, SQIG and a wide range of other specialty drugs.

• Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patient's recovery in the comfort of their own homes.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's orders and plan of treatment.
• Use excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners.
• Provide detailed documentation regarding the patient's visit via simple paper or easy digital charting within a 24hr turn-around time.

Forms include, but are not limited to, the following: Patient assessment form, nursing notes page, IVIG flowsheet (if giving IVIG), Covid questionnaire, and a billable timesheet. We give the RN the option to use paper or digital documentation based on what the RN is most comfortable using.
