Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled and compassionate Med Surg Oncology RN to provide direct patient care and support in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment. This opportunity is a full-time, 13-week assignment with flexible scheduling, designed for dedicated professionals committed to excellence in oncology nursing.
Schedule/Hours:
13-week contract assignment 36 or 48 hours per week Shift options: 3x12's or 4x12's, Days or Nights available No on-call requirements Weekends and holidays included
Qualifications:
Current RN license required; BSN preferred BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required Valid Florida state license or compact license accepted Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in Med Surg Oncology (previous travel experience is a plus)
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and effective nursing care to oncology and medical-surgical patients Closely monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and provide emotional support Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and post-discharge care Document patient interventions, responses, and progress using electronic health records This position is ideal for a registered nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about oncology patient care.
