Key Qualifications:

Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Proven experience in the Operating Room (OR) setting Current BLS and ACLS certification Strong knowledge of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative protocols Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations Exceptional communication and patient advocacy abilities

Schedule/Hours:

Schedule based on facility needs, with potential for variable shifts

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare OR suites and surgical instruments for upcoming cases Circulate and/or scrub as required for diverse surgical specialties Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout perioperative phases Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists Adhere strictly to aseptic technique and infection control protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at every stage Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
