We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting patients through a variety of health conditions, using strong clinical judgment and advanced nursing skills.
Schedule:
Night shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Preferred Qualifications:
Active RN license with a strong background in medical-surgical nursing Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Recent experience with Cerner electronic health records system Permanent residence at least 50 miles from the facility
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive patient care on a busy med-surg unit, prioritizing safety and therapeutic outcomes Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient responses to interventions Document all assessments, interventions, and patient interactions promptly and accurately Support patients and their families with education and updates regarding treatment Uphold infection control, patient privacy, and hospital safety protocols This fast-paced contract role provides the chance to make a meaningful impact, leveraging your skills with a supportive team focused on quality care.
