Stepdown Registered Nurse

Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract Deliver vital care in a specialized setting, providing compassionate and skilled support to patients in a Cardiovascular Stepdown unit. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your cardiac nursing expertise while working alongside dedicated healthcare professionals.

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM shifts

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license Previous experience in stepdown or cardiac stepdown nursing strongly preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Adaptability, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, high-quality care to patients recovering from cardiovascular events or surgeries Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes in patient status, and intervene as needed Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families about cardiac health, procedures, medications, and recovery Document all nursing interventions, assessments, and patient responses accurately and efficiently Participate in continuous process improvements and contribute to a supportive, patient-focused environment If you're an experienced RN with a passion for cardiac care and stepdown nursing, this position will empower you to make a meaningful difference.
