Category Nursing - RN-CVICU Job Type Contract Step into a specialized nursing role utilizing your cardiac expertise in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This contract opportunity is designed for registered nurses committed to providing exceptional care for acutely ill cardiac patients in a dynamic CVICU setting. Schedule/Hours Contract position (duration discussed during interview) Flexible scheduling options based on unit needs Qualifications and Experience Current, active RN license required At least 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Intensive Care or Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Familiarity with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and critical care skills Ability to thrive in high-acuity environments and manage rapidly evolving situations BLS and ACLS certifications (current and in good standing) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to cardiac and post-surgical cardiovascular patients within the CVICU Monitor hemodynamic status, administer medications, and perform advanced cardiac life support procedures as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams for coordinated patient management Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold the highest safety standards Support and reassure patients and their families during critical medical interventions Benefits and Perks Exposure to cutting-edge cardiac care and leading clinical practices Supportive, collaborative environment with experienced peers Opportunities to enhance your critical care skill set in a highly specialized setting Bring your dedication and expertise to a team devoted to saving lives and advancing cardiac care.
