Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting BLS and ACLS certifications required Proficient assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to respond swiftly to changes in patient condition Strong collaboration and leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor vital signs and promptly identify changes in patient status Administer medications and manage IVs per provider orders Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and fellow nurses to coordinate patient care plans Provide thorough patient education and support to families Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment adhering to infection control protocols
