Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered RN license. Minimum of one year experience in an Operating Room setting. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and patient safety protocols. Exceptional communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assist the surgical team by providing direct patient care, monitoring patient status, and ensuring all instruments and supplies are available and sterile. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nursing staff to ensure seamless surgical operations. Adhere strictly to infection control and patient safety standards. Document all aspects of patient care and procedure details accurately and promptly. Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations as part of the surgical team.
