JOB DETAILS
Travel Trauma Surgical Unit RN jobs in Tuscaloosa, AL place you in a 583-bed Level III trauma center. The facility offers advanced trauma and surgical care with a dedicated trauma surgical unit and multidisciplinary patient management. Tuscaloosa is home to the University of Alabama and the scenic Black Warrior River, offering opportunities for outdoor recreation and cultural events. Birmingham is about 60 miles northeast and typically a 1-hour drive. You must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a compact state, at least 1 year of recent trauma or surgical unit experience, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong critical care skills are recommended.
