  • Nights | Tuscaloosa, AL Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for a Med Surg / Telemetry Float Pool
  • Night Shift opportunity in Tuscaloosa, AL.
This role involves floating across multiple inpatient units including medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, respiratory, and general acute care units based on staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care across multiple Med-Surg and Telemetry units Monitor cardiac patients including telemetry monitoring and post-op care Support float pool assignments across various hospital departments Assist with routine nursing care, patient assessments, and documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements:
Active RN License (AL or Compact) Minimum 2 years recent Med-Surg or Telemetry experience BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred Strong critical thinking, patient monitoring, and adaptability skills
Preferred Experience:
Med Surg / Telemetry / Stepdown / PCU Cardiac monitoring, post-surgical care, respiratory patients Experience working in fast-paced acute care hospital settings
