Job Description
Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the warmth and charm of Vance, Alabama—an inviting location offering a welcoming community, rich local culture, and easy access to outdoor adventures. Travel nursing here means expanding your clinical repertoire in a setting known for its collaborative environment and diverse patient population. This position is based on a dedicated 36-bed Renal Unit, caring for individuals with a range of kidney-related conditions including acute and chronic disease, post-hemodialysis, and ongoing peritoneal dialysis. This unique professional opportunity will broaden your knowledge in nephrology care and sharpen your critical thinking as you collaborate closely with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists. You'll have the chance to float to other units and hospitals, further expanding your exposure to varied healthcare settings and management approaches.
Schedule/Hours:
Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week Holidays as required Every other weekendQualifications:
Associate degree in nursing Current and valid Registered Nurse license for Alabama or a Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted; NURSYS verification required) 2 years of nursing experience preferred; will consider candidates with 18 months if at least 1 year is recent experience in the specialty BLS certification from theAmerican Heart Association or Red Cross Responsibilities:
Direct care for patients with complex renal conditions, including acute, chronic, and post-dialysis needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized patient care plans Willingness to float to different units and hospitals as needed Efficiently manage patient loads in a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio Deliver evidence-based patient education and support throughout the healthcare journeyBenefits:
