Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced RN with expertise in Med Surg Oncology to step into a rewarding contract role. This position is ideal for professionals looking to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive environment, working with individuals undergoing oncology treatments.
Schedule:
Full-time, 13-week assignment 36 or 48 hours per week Flexible schedule: Choose from 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts Day and night shifts available No on-call requirements Scheduled to include weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
Active RN license required; BSN preferred Current BLS (AHA) certification ACLS certification required Valid Florida State RN license or compact multistate accepted Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Med Surg Oncology Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the oncology/med surg unit Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to treatment Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-specific medications Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care Adhere strictly to safety standards and infection control protocols Demonstrate strong critical thinking and excellent communication skills in a dynamic clinical setting This assignment offers a chance to advance your skills while working in a vibrant city.
