2 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry night shift position in Fort Smith, AR, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active AR or compact RN license. Details Acute care hospital setting on a Medical Telemetry (Pivot) unit Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 36 hours per week with every other weekend required Patient ratio of 6:1
EMR:
Epic No float or on-call requirements 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license in the state of Arkansas or a compact license recognized in AR — must be active at time of consideration with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment (unless renewal is already scheduled) Minimum 2 years of Med-Tele experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty BLS required Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted) No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months Additional Information Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with other departments to ensure overall effectiveness Maintains professional accountability, upholds patient rights, and ensures confidentiality of patient information This unit precepts students — candidates who enjoy mentoring are strongly preferred Black scrubs required; open-toe shoes are not permitted Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but are subject to a reduced bill rate Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transition to a facility outside the 50-mile radius
