Job Description
HEALTHY COMMUNITIES. COMPASSIONATE CARE.
Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical Surgical and Swing Bed departments. We have openings across multiple shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends and offer flexible scheduling with Full Time, Part Time, and PRN opportunities available. Our Mission:
Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care. Medical Surgical unit provides inpatient care for patients who require monitoring, treatment, and recovery following illness, injury, or medical procedures. Nurses in this setting care for a diverse patient population, including those with acute medical conditions, post-procedural recovery needs, and patients preparing for discharge. Working in medical surgical unit offers the opportunity to practice a broad range of clinical skills while delivering personalized care in a smaller hospital environment with close collaboration among providers and the care team. As a smaller, specialized hospital, OCH offers a fast-paced yet supportive work environment where nurses develop strong clinical experience while building meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Swing-bed service allows a patient to transition from acute care to Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) care without leaving the hospital. This allows a patient to continue receiving services in the hospital even though acute care is no longer required. This is comparable to working in a skilled nursing facility, except that this program is based in a hospital with a lower nurse to patient ratio. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families. Nurses have the opportunity to choose between the Medical Surgical and the swing-bed program, allowing them to work in the care setting that best matches their clinical interests and preferred patient population.Benefits include:
Eligibility for health, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) plan; life insurance; short-term disability; flexible spending accounts; and many other elective benefits subject to plan terms. Paid time off (PTO) earned on an accrual basis starting first day of employment, up to 3.5 weeks per year based on a 40-hour work week. Company-paid holidays.Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas or Compact Licensure State. Current BLS certification required. OCH is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSimilar jobs in Gravette, AR
