Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our healthcare team. The APRN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. This position requires a strong background in various medical practices, including hospital medicine and urgent care, to ensure comprehensive patient management. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient evaluations. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including botulinum toxin treatment when applicable. Perform medical procedures such as spinal taps and other necessary interventions. Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide holistic care in medical-surgical settings. Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Skills Proficient in patient assessment techniques and clinical decision-making. Strong knowledge of hospital medicine practices and urgent care protocols. Experience with medication administration and understanding of pharmacology. Familiarity with medical records management systems and ICD-10 coding. Ability to perform advanced procedures such as spinal taps effectively. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
