You will assess, monitor, and treat patients in the emergency department, work with multidisciplinary teams, and document in electronic medical record systems. To qualify, you need a current Arkansas RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and recent emergency room experience. Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications are required. Experience with electronic medical record systems is recommended. Recommended skills include strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, patient assessment, medication administration, teamwork, and adaptability to a fast-paced setting. Effective communication and emotional resilience are important for success in emergency nursing.
