Cardiology Nurse

Clinical Research Nurse Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Safety:

Provide expert nursing care to patients enrolled in clinical trials pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and study-specific guidelines.

Protocol Adherence:

Execute research protocols accurately and efficiently, including patient screening, informed consent, procedural assistance, study follow up and data collection.

Data Management:

Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of all research activities, including case report forms (CRFs), electronic data capture (EDC) systems, and source documents.

Collaboration:

Work closely with physicians, research coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless trial execution and patient continuity of care.

Regulatory Compliance:

Adhere to all regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and institutional policies related to human subject research.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and their families about study procedures, follow-up care, and benefits in a clear and compassionate manner. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in AR. Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cath Lab. BLS and ACLS certification required. Prior experience in clinical research preferred but not required. We are willing to train a motivated and eager candidate! Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional cardiology procedures. Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and computer systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

2 years in clinic, hospital, cath lab or research setting in the field of cardiology

Preferred Qualifications:

LPN or RN 2 years of practice experience in a cardiac cath lab
