Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Infusion Coordinator RN Clinic Infusion Coordinator•
SUMMARY:
This position is filled by a registered nurse who, as a result of educational and clinical experience, possesses the advanced knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide expert nursing care; applies expert knowledge to act as a change agent, role model and leader; ensures quality focused and cost-effective care delivery outcomes; functions within a collaborative practice to enhance quality of care and participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Responsible and accountable for direct patient care and providing leadership within the nursing team. Responsible and accountable for the care given to the patient and for the decision regarding which nursing tasks can be safely delegated to licensed and unlicensed persons involved in patient care. Responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care and promoting a team effort among co-workers. Responsible and accountable to know, own and energize the vision, mission, values and standards of the hospital. RN Clinic Infusion Coordinator•
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Healthstream Policy Manager. Required to work with the Clinic Manager regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease Clinic. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate of Science in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
Experience:
Minimum one (1) year nursing experience required. Previous experience with insurance payors, prior authorizations, patient scheduling and coordination of care desired. Experience in patient infusions preferred.
Certification:
BLS certification required.
License:
Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing.
Other:
Baxter Health hazardous medication training required. RN Clinic Infusion Coordinator•

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Spend eight (8) hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse, daily. Ability to regularly stand and walk, occasionally bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds using proper body mechanics. Able to push/pull in excess of 150 pound wheelchair with patient or equipment. Occasionally lift patients with assist 125 pounds or more. Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations of CPR and obtaining equipment. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity with or without correction. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. RN Clinic Infusion Coordinator•Work Environment Clinic Setting RN Clinic Infusion Coordinator•Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in a clinical setting which is open 8-12 hours a day.
Clinic Schedule:
5 days a week, Monday•Friday, 8 hour shifts. • Per Commitment Incentive & Sign On Agreement Policy Requirements
