Job Description
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work with our patients in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab at Howard Memorial Hospital. We are a critical access hospital located in Nashville, Arkansas. We provide comprehensive patient-focused care in a variety of settings — emergency, surgical, inpatient and outpatient—delivered by skilled medical professionals. Our not-for-profit status ensures that all financial resources remaining after expenses are re-invested in the hospital to improve technology, the facility and patient services. This position is a non-exempt, part-time position. Responsibilities Interpret lab results. Perform blood pressure and temperature checks, and glucose monitoring. Identify cardiac arrhythmias. Educate patients about medications, weight management and risk factor modification. Communicate with patient's physician when necessary. Qualifications Current AR RN license or RN license from a compact state. 3+ years experience in clinical nursing experience. Experience in Cardiac Rehab and/or Pulmonary a plus. Effective written and verbal communication and critical thinking skills.
