Day Shift | Local Candidates Only Position Overview We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Quality of Care Investigative Nurse to support healthcare quality management and investigative activities. This role focuses on conducting quality-of-care investigations, reviewing clinical documentation, identifying care concerns, developing corrective action plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare quality standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Conduct timely and comprehensive quality-of-care investigations. Review medical records and analyze clinical documentation. Perform member-centric and systemic assessments related to care quality concerns. Develop and monitor corrective action plans when deficiencies are identified. Maintain detailed and accurate investigative documentation. Prepare professional reports, findings, and recommendations. Upload and manage investigation-related documentation within electronic systems. Refer cases to appropriate oversight agencies when necessary. Identify trends, patterns, and systemic quality concerns. Participate in care concern reviews and urgent issue resolution. Utilize nursing assessment and evaluation skills throughout investigations. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and quality standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders. Required Qualifications Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License. Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Nursing Audits, or Healthcare Compliance. Experience reviewing medical records and clinical documentation. Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient care evaluation. Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems. Ability to work independently and manage multiple investigations. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Quality Management or Regulatory Compliance. Experience conducting investigations or audits within healthcare settings. Background in Developmental Disabilities, Behavioral Health, Case Management, or Managed Care. Experience developing corrective action plans and quality improvement initiatives.
