Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Pay Rate :
$67/Hourly Mandatory Qualifications Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required) Wound Care Certification (Mandatory) Minimum of 3 years of recent Wound Care Nursing experience Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification (Required) ACLS Certification (Preferred) Strong clinical knowledge in: Wound assessment and management Ostomy care Pressure injury prevention and treatment Acute and chronic wound care Fistula and draining wound management Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) ; familiarity with RPMS is a plus Excellent patient assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to educate patients, caregivers, and families on wound and ostomy care Roles and Responsibilities Perform comprehensive wound and skin assessments for patients with acute and chronic wounds. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care treatment plans. Provide specialized care for patients with: Ostomies Pressure ulcers/injuries Draining wounds Fistulas Surgical wounds Chronic non-healing wounds Perform wound dressing changes, debridement support, and evidence-based wound management. Recommend appropriate wound care products, medical supplies, and ostomy equipment. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound prevention, treatment plans, and ostomy management. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Monitor patient progress and modify care plans based on clinical outcomes.
