Hourly Pay Rate (1099): $85.00 Weekly Pay Rate (1099): $3,060.00 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The RN will assess, prioritize, and treat patients with a wide range of emergent conditions while rotating through multiple areas of the Emergency Department to support patient care and departmental operations. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients across the Main ED, Fast Track, and Observation Unit. Perform patient assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on patient acuity. Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patient conditions, document clinical findings, and communicate changes to the healthcare team. Rotate between ED assignments, including Triage, Quick Registration, Covid screening/testing, and other designated care areas as needed. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, safe, and effective patient care. Float to other qualified departments when needed and assist with patient care or unit support tasks. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required. Active RN license required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required. TNCC certification required. Conscious Sedation Certification required (may be obtained through the facility after confirmation; applicable fee applies). Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with scheduling flexibility, including occasional day shift coverage. Must be comfortable rotating through multiple ED care areas and floating to other qualified departments as needed.
