AM Compensation Pay Rate:
$63/hr W2 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality geriatric nursing care in a long-term care environment. The RN will deliver resident-focused care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes and a safe therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience working in geriatric or long-term care settings. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor, assess, and document residents' physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions Perform nursing assessments and assist with development of MDS assessments and individualized care plans Participate in shift reports and communicate resident needs with healthcare team members and families Supervise nursing support staff and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, infection control, and safety procedures Respond appropriately during emergency situations and changes in resident condition Support quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary patient care planning Required Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program Certifications & Licensure Active RN License required Current CPR/BLS Certification required Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card required Required Skills & Experience Previous geriatric or long-term care experience preferred Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to supervise staff and support interdisciplinary care Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Additional Requirements TB Test and Drug Screen required COVID Vaccination Card required Skills Checklist and Competency Testing required Weekend availability required Candidates must follow block booking schedule requirements: One week: 36 hours Following week: 48 hours For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-862-1203.
