This role includes administering chemotherapy/biotherapy treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring safe, compliant care in accordance with practice policies and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Safely prepare, calculate, and administer chemotherapy/biotherapy medications
• Verify labs and assess patients before, during, and after treatment
• Monitor for side effects, reactions, and changes in patient condition, taking appropriate action
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation (vitals, medications, assessments, education)
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to support comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatments, side effects, and care plans
• Triage patient calls and manage medication refills as needed
• Ensure efficient patient flow within the infusion area
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and practice guidelines
• Support a clean, safe work environment and assist with clinic operations as needed
