Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:

Travel assignment with variable shifts depending on facility needs

Desired Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong critical thinking and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit Monitor patient status, complete thorough assessments, and document care Administer medication and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care Support and educate patients and families regarding conditions and care plans Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
