Job Description

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team! The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU responsibilities include:
  • Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.
  • Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff.
  • May be authorized, in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director, to make decisions affecting the
PAT/PACU
Pre-operative and Pain Management area.

    Required Experience:
    • Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
    • Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
    • Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona
    • Current BLS certification
    • Must be able to achieve
    ACLS & PALS
    certification within 30days of employment.
    • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
    • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
    • Previous PACU, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
