The Admission Nurse will ensure new residents feel comfortable and cared for from day one. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for both residents and their families. We are looking for an Admissions Nurse who is clinically confident, detailed-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment . The schedule is flexible with 4x 10-hour shifts and rotating weekend schedule.

Responsibilities:

Be the first point of clinical contact for new admissions. Reviewing hospital H&P as well as orders to ensure the patient is appropriate for our setting. Ensure compliance with clinical documentation and facility standards Enter orders into EMR Point Click Care. Review pharmacy orders and ensure the orders are routed to pharmacy to be received in a timely manner. Communicate with floor nurses about new admissions from the report taken from the hospital. Work closely with our admissions and nursing teams to develop Care Plans for new admissions. Conduct assessments and consents timely. Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Qualifications:

Current Arizona RN or LPN license in good standing. Strong organizational and communication skills Minimum 2+ year of clinical nursing experience (skilled nursing or rehab preferred) If you're ready to join our caring Rio Vista Family, please apply today!!
