Job Description
NICU Nurse - Make a Life-Changing Impact! Join Valleywise Health as a NICU Nurse, where you'll provide expert, compassionate care to our most fragile patients. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Executive DON, Ambulatory, you'll collaborate with physicians and specialists to deliver critical, age-specific nursing care in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Assess, monitor, and implement personalized care plans. Administer medications and treatments with precision. Educate and advocate for patients and families. Ensure seamless collaboration with the care team. Lead quality improvement initiatives in neonatal care. $35.52 - $52.39 This is a PM shift with an 18% shift differential during the week and 26% shift differential on the weekends.Qualifications Education:
Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing.Experience:
Must have at least one (1) year of recent acute care hospital RN experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, or if completed the New Grad RN program at Valleywise Health, then must have at least one year of Valleywise Health experience as an RN and be in good standing.Certification/Licensure:
Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, temporary AZ RN license, or valid compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing. Requires a BLS card obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire. In addition, certification or continuing education may be required based on the area of practice: NRP required upon hire or by three months (3) months of hire or transfer for new grad/new to service.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must. Bilingual is preferred. Must have excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills. Requires basic computer word processing skills (e.g., formatting, editing, printing, composing email, internet searches, etc.) to navigate through an electronic medical record using a computer successfully.
