- The opportunity to make a direct impact on patients' health and quality of life What You'll Do As a Registered Nurse in our Access Surgery Center, you'll be a vital member of the clinical team, helping patients navigate every stage of their procedure with confidence and compassion. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, verify informed consent, and administer medications, IV therapies, and conscious sedation as appropriate.
- Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures, ensuring timely intervention and optimal outcomes.
- Assess dialysis access sites for patency and identify potential complications or concerns.
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions, ensuring patients and families understand home care requirements.
- Facilitate safe patient transfers to EMS or hospital facilities when needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and enter clinical data to support patient follow-up and quality initiatives.
- Support infection prevention efforts, quality assurance programs, and compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards.
- Assist with inventory management, crash cart maintenance, equipment checks, and overall operational readiness.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient experiences and outcomes. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent from an accredited nursing program
- Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of acute care or critical care nursing experience
- Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
