Job Title:
State Level Administrator / Non-Clinical Lead Case Manager (RN III) Position Overview The Office of the State Surgeon Arizona Army National Guard (AZARNG) requires medical, dental, and behavioral case management and administrative care coordinator support services for an average of 700 conditions requiring a profile per month, average of 350 Line of Duty cases, a continual monthly average of 1,100 in depth cases requiring additional paperwork and board actions with the goal of maintaining a medically deployable force. The case management team will manage all active profiles. Currently there are approximately 969 temporary profiles and 2,175 permanent profiles. The case management team is expected to track duty limiting medical, dental, and behavioral issues by Soldier.

- typically held every other Wednesday and on drill weekends. Contractor staff are expected to work MRE weekends and shall flex the work week before or after the MRE event to comply with the 80 hour / two-week schedule. General Duties and Responsibilities
- The SLA is responsible for coordinating the execution of medical readiness plans, programs, policies, and procedures.
- Serves as the point of contact for all medical readiness policies, programs, issues, and actions.
- Administratively supervises case managers, and contractor staff.
- Responsible for overseeing and scanning Soldier Treatment Records (STRs) in the State.
- Interfaces with VA administration for transport of medical records.
- Interfaces with active duty MTFs on MEB/PEB process for AZARNG Soldiers.
- Responsible for medical/dental portion of mobilization and demobilization SRPs.
- The SLA is responsible for all administrative functions related to all civilian employees under this contract including:
- Primary administrative POC for Contractor Program Manager.
- Oversight of all contractor personnel to ensure all required tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner.
- Coordinates new hire and refresher contractor training.
- Tracking work hours.
- Consolidation of all medical readiness metrics and reports.
- Ensures Quality Assurance measures are met.
Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license from the AZ State Board of Nursing.
Active (unexpired) BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience to manage the contractors. Demonstrated experience working with DoD medical systems and readiness processes. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities In-depth knowledge of Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment medical standards.
Proficiency in DoD medical and readiness systems, including MEDPROS, MEDCHART, MODS, eCASE, and MHS GENESIS.Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases independently while meeting strict regulatory timelines.
Excellent communication skills with Soldiers, leadership, and medical stakeholders. Work Environment Non-clinical setting supporting military medical readiness operations.
Combination of office, event-based, and potential field support during MREs and SRP events.
May require travel and flexible scheduling based on operational requirements.
As an SCA position this pays $5.09/hour up to 40 hours/week for benefits
