Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float Team, you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports our patients' well-being and recovery, with a positive attitude and reliability. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You will be expected to collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy. Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes. Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner. Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies. Evaluates the effectiveness of care given by health care team members. Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers. Job Requirements Required Two (2) years of general RN care experience Associate degree of Nursing Valid compact state or Arizona RN license American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to the Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of age Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months of position Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months, or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) within 12 months, or Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) within 12 months, or Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC) within 12 months Preferred Two (2) years of medical/surgical, progressive care, critical care experience or emergency department care experience Bachelor's degree of Nursing
