Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry Prescott, AZ Night Shift | 36 Hours Guaranteed We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med Surg/Telemetry in an acute care setting. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong telemetry and surgical patient care experience.

Med Surg/Telemetry Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Active

BLS & ACLS

certifications required Telemetry experience required Experience with surgical, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred Cerner experience strongly preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for Med Surg and Telemetry patients in an acute care setting Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Interpret and monitor telemetry strips at least once per shift Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols Care for patients with respiratory, GI, diabetic, neuro, orthopedic, and surgical conditions Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR system Float to other units or campuses as needed based on patient care requirements Additional Information Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 48-bed Telemetry unit Navy blue scrubs required One shift unit orientation provided Floating may be required based on facility needs Why Join Thrive HCR?
