Responsibilities:

Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills Maintain accurate and confidential health records Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Requirements/Qualifications:

At least 2-3 years nursing experience Active, Arizona nursing license (Required) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required

• can obtain during onboarding) CPR/BLS Certification Red Cross/AHA (Required
• No online courses accepted) Valid TB Test (Required
• valid within 1 year) Trach experience (Highly Preferred) Pediatric experience (Highly Preferred)

Physical Demands:

This position requires employees to use their hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The position may require lifting, bending, and crouching. The employee will occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds.
