Key Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Operating Room RN (RN-OR) Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred) Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing preferred Strong knowledge of sterile technique, patient safety, and perioperative standards Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Ability to adapt swiftly to new environments and EMR systems
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to surgical patients, ensuring optimal outcomes Circulate and/or scrub for various surgical procedures, maintaining strict aseptic technique Work closely with surgical teams, advocating for patient safety and comfort Prepare OR suites, equipment, and supplies according to procedural requirements Accurately document interventions, assessments, and outcomes within EMR Respond quickly to emergent situations, demonstrating calm and effective leadership
