Pediatric Registered Nurse Shift - Night Shift (1800 - 0630) Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pediatric Registered Nurse, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, comprehensive nursing care tailored to pediatric patients across various settings. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and developmental evaluations specific to children. Administer medications and injections with precision, utilizing aseptic techniques and adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Manage IV infusions, catheter care, tube feeding, and ventilator support for pediatric patients requiring complex medical interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document patient care accurately and efficiently. Provide education and health coaching to families on pediatric health issues, medication administration, and developmental milestones. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, sonography, and basic medical imaging procedures. Support emergency response efforts in urgent care or emergency room settings by performing airway management, acute pain management, and triage assessments. Engage in infection control practices and maintain sterile processing standards during procedures like suturing or ostomy care.
