Job Description

Overview Registered Nurse, Med Surg — travel assignment in a surgical center setting located in Tuba City, Arizona.
Start date:
06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a 3x12 night shift schedule (1830-0700). This travel position is a temporary assignment in a surgical center that serves a regional population and provides a range of inpatient/outpatient services.

Limited housing options; shared housing available at $600 per month based on availability; housing application required Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for adults and older adults in a surgical center setting, following physician orders and standards of care Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and therapies, assist with perioperative and post-procedure care as directed Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient status; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care Support patient and family education related to procedures, post-discharge plans, and symptom management Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and safety procedures Requirements Active, valid nursing license to practice in any U.S. state (or territory) BLS and ACLS certifications; TCAR (Trauma Care After Resuscitation) certification within six months of hire NIHSS (Stroke Scale) certification within six months of hire Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute or sub-acute facility Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced surgical center environment and travel for a 13-week assignment Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Housing assistance with shared housing options (if available) and housing application required two weeks prior to start Orientation every two weeks Guaranteed hours included in the assignment Extension opportunities based on performance and site needs Dedicated support throughout the assignment Find more opportunities If this role isn't a fit, you can explore other RN travel openings available through Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.
