$60/hour (Local Candidates Only) Position Overview The Arizona State Veteran Home is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The RN will be responsible for medication administration, resident assessments, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal resident outcomes. Required Qualifications Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred Preferred Experience Previous experience in geriatric nursing Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience Long-Term Care (LTC) experience Experience with resident assessments and care planning Required Skills Medication Administration Resident Assessments Care Plan Development and Management MDS Assessment Participation Clinical Documentation Geriatric Nursing Patient and Family Education Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration ADL Assistance and Supervision Shift Report Communication Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing scope of practice Perform admission assessments and ongoing resident evaluations Assist with MDS assessments, quarterly reviews, and individualized care plans Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation Participate in shift reports and resident care coordination Provide leadership and limited supervision to nursing support staff Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed Support staff education, in-service training, and quality improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-862-1203 .
