Days Schedule:
5x8 or 3x12 Shifts Available Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the surgical process. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure safe and effective procedures. Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention standards. Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures. Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. Document patient care accurately and timely within the medical record. Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative experience. Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) License. Current BLS Certification. Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience. Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile techniques. Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel nursing experience. Experience in multiple surgical specialties. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
