Job Description

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Arcadia, CA area for the following position: Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls. Qualifications:
Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
