Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Step into an impactful nursing leadership opportunity within Emergency Services, guiding teams in an acute care environment. This contract assignment is designed for skilled professionals ready to contribute expertise and operational oversight in a dynamic emergency department.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 40 hours per week, guaranteed
Key Qualifications:
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum five years' experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) setting At least two years' prior management or supervisory background in emergency services Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification TB clearance completed within the past twelve months Strong communication, decision-making, and collaborative leadership abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Direct day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring optimal patient flow, care quality, and regulatory compliance Supervise, mentor, and support ER clinical staff; provide guidance on best practices and policy implementation Evaluate and improve departmental workflows to enhance patient safety and satisfaction Serve as a liaison with medical staff, ancillary departments, and administration on matters affecting ER performance Coordinate with the education team for ongoing staff education and competency assessments Lead by example in crisis response, resource management, and fostering a patient-centered care environment
