Rapid Response/Crisis Assignment Pay Rate:
$55

00 per hour Guaranteed 36 hours per week Overtime available after 40 hours worked per week Call-back minimum: 2 hours Mandatory Qualifications for This Job Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) License Minimum 3 years of recent Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg Adult) nursing experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Proof of negative Tuberculosis (TB) screening completed within 12 months of contract start date Experience providing direct patient care in an acute care hospital setting Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and critical thinking skills Experience documenting patient care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR); CPSI/Evident experience preferred Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as required Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills Must be legally authorized to work in the United States 2. Roles and Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and patient progress Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system Respond effectively to emergency situations and changing patient conditions Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements Support patient safety initiatives and infection prevention protocols Participate in shift reports, care coordination, and multidisciplinary rounds Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional nursing standards
