Day Shift Mandatory Qualifications for This Job Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) License Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) Circulator experience TB Clearance completed within the last 12 months Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and sterile techniques Experience assisting surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room environment Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR preferred Roles and Responsibilities Function as the primary Operating Room Circulator RN during surgical procedures Coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgery Ensure compliance with sterile field and infection prevention protocols Verify surgical consents, patient identification, and procedural readiness Monitor patient safety throughout operative procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub technicians, and surgical staff Document patient care and surgical activities accurately in the EMR system Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures Respond effectively to emergency situations in the surgical setting Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and nursing best practices Participate in shared on-call responsibilities as required Facility Information Furnished Finder Travel Nurse Housing Temporary housing options available in Arcata, McKinleyville, Eureka, Blue Lake, Westhaven, and Samoa #ORRN #CirculatorRN #OperatingRoomNurse #PerioperativeNurse #RegisteredNurse #CaliforniaRN #TravelNurse #ContractRN #SurgicalNurse #BLSCertified #ORNursing #HealthcareJobs #RNJobs #HiringNow #TravelNursing #HospitalNurse #DayShiftRN #PatientSafety #SurgeryNurse #NursingCareers#
