Gould Plastic Surgery, a published deep plane facial rejuvenation practice in Beverly Hills, is hiring a patient-care-first Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner or PA who wants OR access on top of a strong aesthetic book. Patient outcomes and trust matter more than unit count here. Most aesthetic APP roles do not offer the surgical-extender track this one does, and that is what makes this hire different. What we care most about is how you treat patients. The right candidate would be the best nurse on the unit for a facelift or mommy-makeover patient: focused on outcomes, calm in recovery, attentive to small details, available after hours when a patient is anxious. If commission is your top motivator, this is not the role. You will run an independent aesthetic and laser line: preoperative consultations, CO2 laser, Morpheus, neuromodulators, and dermal fillers. You will round on postoperative patients daily as part of aftercare, including week-one and week-two follow-ups, drain checks, suture and tape management, and the early-postoperative reassurance that drives outcomes and reviews. You will participate in outcomes photography and educational content. As you progress, you will scrub in, close under supervision, and first-assist on body and facial cases. You are licensed in California as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or AGACNP) or a PA-C and can be credentialed under Dr. Gould's supervision. You have injected before or have the temperament and anatomy fluency to learn fast under direct teaching. You speak about facial anatomy at the level of a surgical resident. You measure your week by outcomes and patient trust, not by units moved. The practice is education-first and anti-hype. We publish, we teach at national meetings, and our patients are educated, often press-aware, and expect technical answers. We do not sell anti-aging, we do not sell resets, and we do not pretend a syringe replaces anatomy. Schedule reality. Clinic days are long. Surgical days start early. Evening clinic hours are part of the schedule. Occasional weekend post-ops for surgical patients happen, and after-hours availability for postoperative reassurance is part of the job. If that is a problem, this is not the practice for you. Compensation. Top-of-market base ($185K anchor for the right candidate), production share on injectables (up to 22%) and lasers (up to 15%) once your independent book opens, 24-month retention bonus, full benefits, $3,500 annual CME budget plus five days of conference travel, malpractice covered, 3 weeks PTO. Direct mentorship and protected scrub-in time in a deep plane facelift, body, and breast practice. Co-authorship on outcomes papers and case series where you contribute meaningfully.
