1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at an acute care hospital in Burbank, CA, requiring 2 years of OR experience and an active CA RN license. Details Work in the Operating Room of a 392-bed acute care hospital in Burbank, CA 1:1 patient ratio Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM On-call required: approximately 4-6 call shifts per 6-week period, including weekends; weekday call hours are 11:00 PM-7:00 AM, weekend call hours are 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Weekend shifts limited to on-call coverage only Block scheduling considered at manager's discretion Charting system: Mediteach; Epic experience also required Free parking available on-site Requirements Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within California; refusal to float may result in assignment termination All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submission; post-submission or post-offer RTO requests may be denied Scrub color: any color accepted Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facilitySimilar jobs in Burbank, CA
