1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CA-licensed RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification. Details Work setting is a hospital Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit Schedule is 3x12-hour mid shifts, 11:00-23:00 Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active CA RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration Additional Information Provides nursing care and procedural support within the LDRP setting under Charge Nurse supervision Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and the care team May mentor and train nursing students Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; local candidates may be considered at a different rate Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
