We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a highly specialized surgical environment. Our team enjoys a consistent Monday-Thursday schedule with four 10-hour shifts, promoting work-life balance while maintaining excellence in patient outcomes. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Requirements for this position include a current RN license and a minimum of one year of nursing experience. Experience in surgery, ophthalmology, or ambulatory care is preferred but not required. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, performing assessments, administering medications and treatments, and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards such as HIPAA and NCQA. The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient recovery and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform venipuncture with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Manage airway care Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-surgical care and recovery instructions. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice. Demonstrated expertise in advanced procedures like IV insertion. Strong knowledge of anatomy & physiology along with diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience working with diverse patient populations. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications like ACLS or PALS are advantageous.
