Duration:
approximately 13 weeks Responsibilities Deliver direct bedside nursing care in the ER, including patient assessment, triage, monitoring, and response to changes in patient condition Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions Document care accurately in the electronic health record; communicate with the ED team to coordinate patient care plans Ensure patient safety and comfort, manage pain, and implement infection control practices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members; assist with patient disposition and discharge planning as appropriate Prepare and transport patients for imaging, procedures, or transfer when needed; provide education to patients and families Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in California Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred Nursing degree from an accredited program (RN) and eligibility to practice in the state Prior ER/acute care experience preferred; capable of functioning in a fast-paced ER environment Ability to work the stated shift (3x12 nights) and accommodate travel requirements Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing processes to expedite onboarding Nationwide travel assignments Find more opportunities If you'd like to explore additional openings, you can view other opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.
