1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring strong labor and delivery experience and multiple certifications including NRP and BLS. Details Day shift position, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 36 hours per week Labor & Delivery unit with exposure to postpartum and newborn stabilization Newborn stabilization skills are a core part of the role Requirements Active CA RN license required, unrestricted and in good standing Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required; 3-4 years of overall RN experience preferred Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required NRP certification required within 6 months of employment, recertified every 2 years AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within 6 months of employment, recertified every 2 years ACLS preferred; if working in applicable units, must be certified within 6 months of employment STABLE certification strongly recommended; experience with newborn stabilization required Nursery experience (any level) and postpartum experience preferred No prior hits on RN license SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must have worked in the L&D specialty within the last 3 months RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer; requests exceeding 5 days will result in automatic disqualification Two supervisor references required — one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
